Day1: Chennai (Madras) A – Mahabalipuram [60 km – 1 ½ hours by road] Arrival in Chennai and then a transfer to Mahabalipuram, a place which offers many temples and beaches to visit.
Day2: Mahabalipuram B – Pondicherry [100 km – 2 hours by road], After visiting Mahabalipuram you move onwards to Pondicherry. Pondicherry has many sight seeing places and is a peaceful place to relax as well.
Day3: Pondicherry C – It has also many buildings that have fine architecture in them and all such attractions can be covered in 2 days in detail.
Day4: Pondicherry – Thanjavur [210 km – 5-6 hours by road]. After the stay at Pondicherry you would be moving on towards Thanjavur to visit one of the its most famous temples.
Day5: Thanjavur D – Madurai – [180 km – 5-6 hours by road], onwards to Madurai a city which offers the largest South Indian temple and other tourist attractions too.
Day6: Madurai E – You can shop and see all the major attractions and also the popular and famous Meenakshi Amman temple in detail.
Day7: Madurai A – Kodaikanal [130 km -2-3 hours by road], After the visit of the grand Meenakshi temple you would be moving on to the famous hill station of Kodaikanal. The climate is chill and a perfect escape from the heat.There are many picnic spots in kodaikanal as well.
Day8: Kodaikanal B – Periyar [120 km – 3-4 hours by road] , From Kodaikanal you would be taken to the Periyar tiger reserve which hosts some of the most rarest of birds and animals.
Day9: Periyar C – Allepey [140 km – 4 hours by road],after the sight seeing of periyar you would be moving on towards Allepey to enjoy the houseboat ride .
Day10: Allepey – A day could be spent on the houseboat on the Backwaters.Fresh and authentic Kerala Food would also be provided on the houseboat.
Day11: Allepey – Marari beach [30km – 1 hour by road],After the enchanting experience of the houseboats you can relax on the sandy beaches of Marari.
Day12: Marari Beach D – Kochi [60km – 1 hour by road]. From Marari beach,you would move on to Kochi for some sight seeing and shopping.
Day13: Kochi E – transfer to the airport to board your onward journey.
